The “Oh Yeah Yeah” phrase originated in MaximillianMus' 2018 video I ran into pewdiepie in fortnite and he was kinda rude. The video is a Fortnite gameplay and it entails him talking with random people through the games voice chat, he said “Oh Yeah Yeah” for the first time.

The song and phrase itself have since led to a lot of YouTube users commenting the phrase on other videos using Max’s profile picture.

In late January, MaximilianMus released a video instructing his fans on the plan to take over YouTube. As a result, the profile photo and “oh yeah yeah” phrase begins to spread rapidly.

The next day, YouTube deleted Max’s video which he addresses in a now-deleted YouTube status in which he acknowledged “rules are rules.” Following a flood of comments from people using MaximilianMus' profile picture, popular Youtuber, KSI responded to the topic declaring war on Max A few hours later, max responded a video declaring “double war” on KSI

A couple of days after Max’s response, KSI released a video saying that the MaximilianMus “army” was too strong and that he would be joining them, he then updated his profile picture on his second channel to a similar looking version of Maximilian’s profile photo

YouTube then reinstated Max’s video. Though this potentially hurt the virality of Max’s plan, a large portion of YouTubers comments has already been flooded with “oh yeah yeah.”
